WHAT TO EXPECT AT LEGACY..

First, thank you for coming this far! Stacey and I are truly grateful that you are considering a visit to Legacy. We’ll do our best to give as much information as we can so you feel prepared when you visit. When you visit, please find us and introduce yourself. We look forward to meeting you!

  • Shared Building: We have a unique situation as we share a building with two other businesses. Our space is in the back of the building and faces away from HWY 93 (the upside: a glorious view of The Bitterroots!).

  • Entrances: We have two entrances. Our main entrance is at the back of the building, but the front entrance is available also. There are a few paved parking spaces at the front entrance along with plenty of gravel parking. Our Main Entrance in the back is also gravel parking.

  • Sunday Service: Our service begins a few minutes after 10AM to allow for some coffee and visiting. The coffee bar is located at the back of the building along with some light snacks. You will come into a relaxed, happy atmosphere where people dress casually or cozy, depending on the season.

    • Service Structure: Our service will begin with a greeting and a few announcements. After that, we typically sing 3-4 songs, most of the time with a live worship team. There are times, however, when we use worship videos to add to the worship set. The lyrics to the songs we sing are displayed on two TV screens at the front of the building. After worship, we have a time of prayer that is led by Pastor Eddie. This prayer time is designed to pray for the needs of the church, our community, our nation, and our world. After prayer, we dismiss the kids to join our kids team for an age appropriate lesson. A Legacy Kids Teacher will lead them to the Legacy Kids Room. During this time, there is a short transition where we encourage people to fill up on coffee, grab another snack, and visit with one another. You can be as active during this part as you want to be! There is no expectation. After the transition, we move into the message - the preaching and teaching of The Word. A typical message will last between 30-40 minutes and after the message the service concludes and we are dismissed. If you have children, you can pick them up from the Legacy Kids Room. From there, it’s entirely up to you! You can grab some more coffee, stay and visit, or tackle the rest of your day! No matter what you choose, it will be nice to have been together.

    • Service Length: A typical service will go from 10-11:15

    • Bibles and Technology: Pastor Eddie uses both his Bible and his iPad when he preaches and Bible verses are displayed on the TVs above the stage. Pastor Eddie encourages the use of physical Bibles, but also appreciates the Bible on devices and encourages the use of those too! You may hear him say, “However you can engage with the Word of God, do that!”

  • Social Media: If you have made it this far, you already know about our website! We also have a church facebook page and an Instagram account. We are currently building our social media footprint and welcome you to follow us there, if you would like. The links to those accounts can be found at the top of our website on the right hand side of the page, or you can click here:

Stacey and I want to thank you, again, for your interest in Legacy Church. If there is anything else we can do to make your visit a pleasant one, please contact us using the form on our home page or by emailing us at office@legacychurchmt.com
